To Do or to Think?

My friend says that thinking is the same as doing...I can disagree with him. We are made of our actions. Thoughts are important, that is true, because our thoughts lead to our actions. But if you wanted to steal something, but didn't do it, does it mean that you are a thief. If you wanted to cheat, but stopped? does it mean that you are a cheater? And if you wanted to be successful but did nothing towards it, does it mean that you are successful?
Thoughts is nothing without action, and action is useless without thoughts...
There is harmony somewhere...

Fear Is Your Friend?

Do you have any fears? Fear of mistake? Fear of failure? Fear of bad words of emotions? We all have fears...But how can fear be our friend? Yes, you can face your fear and destroy it, but you can do even more - you can ask your fear some questions - because our biggest fears are about our most important things in life. Fear is a confusion about your goal, is is not clear vision - you can change your fear into the plan of realizing your goal. Just don't be afraid to learn more about this problem and about yourself.

Marriage and Responsibility

"Marriages may be made in Heaven but a lot of the
details have to be worked out here on Earth"

~Gloria Pitzer

Marriage is a great responsibility, and it is a great work, but how pleasant this work is:)

The Greatest Responsibility

Have you ever thought that you are responsible for the whole world? That our world’s development and evolution depends on you? On your ability to use your divine energy…
If you just imagine this for a moment? You will feel how wonderful is your life, and how big is your responsibility to realize your talent and your dreams – because the world’s future depends on you… Even the smallest thought can change the world… Think about it!

Sense of Life

Yesterday my friend called and asked me "What is the sense of life?" I was a bit confused and couldn't answer at once. Today I started to think about this question. What is the sense of life? As for me the sense of life is to live the life with aim. It is to live the life not only for yourself but for other people and for the whole world. I can repeat what I was saying at my training - everybody needs to live for something bigger then he or she is. That is a sense of life... for me:)

Success of Failure?

What do we call success? Can it be that our biggest failure transforms into the greatest success? Can it be that anything negative becomes positive? Is there anything negative at all?

The Pure Heart: Mother Teresa

"When I pick up a person from the street, hungry, I give him a plate of rice, a piece of bread.
But a person who is shut out, who feels unwanted, unloved, terrified, the person who has been thrown out of society –
That spiritual poverty is much harder to overcome.
Those who are materially poor can be very wonderful people.

One evening we went out and we picked up four people from the street.
And one of them was in a most terrible condition.
I told the Sisters:
“You take care of the other three; I will take care of the one who
Looks worse.” So I did for her all that my love can do.
I put her in bed,
And there was such a beautiful smile on her face.
She took hold of my hand,
As she said one word only: “Thank you” — and she died.
I could not help but examine my conscience before her.
And I asked: “What would I say if I were in her place?“
And my answer was very simple.
I would have tried to draw a little attention to myself.
I would have said: “I am hungry,
I am dying, I am cold, I am in pain, or something.
But she gave me much more — she gave me her grateful love.
And she died with a smile on her face.
Then there was the man we picked up from the drain, half-eaten
By worms and, after we had brought him to the home, he only said,
“I have lived like an animal in the street, but I am going to die as an angel, loved and cared for.”
Then, after we had removed all the worms from his body,
All he said, with a big smile, was: “Sister, I am going home to God” — and he died.

It was so wonderful to see the greatness of that man who could
Speak like that without blaming anybody, without comparing anything.
Like an angel — this is the greatness of people who are spiritually
Rich even when they are materially poor…."

Waves of Life

One evening a young woman went alone to walk barefoot by the ocean after the sun had set. She stopped in her path and turned so she could see the footsteps she had left in the sand. But they had already been washed away by the waves. When she turned to continue her walk, she was startled by the presence of an old woman wrapped in a blanket who out of nowhere appeared sitting by a fire, slowly paging through the leaves of a leather covered book.

She walked up to the woman and asked. "Where did you come from? I didn't see you here a moment ago. And how did you start this fire so quickly?"

Her questions went unanswered but were instead met with a reply in a serene voice, "Sit with me, child. I have something to show you."

As the young woman sat down beside the fire, the mysterious stranger handed her the book. She curiously turned the pages one by one and was amazed to discover they contained the story of her whole life from the early days of childhood to the present. She then came to the page telling of her encounter with the old woman by the fire during her walk on the beach, but upon turning to the next page, she found it empty. She frantically began to turn the rest of the pages in the book only to find that they, too, were all empty. In bewilderment, she looked to the old woman and pleaded with her to explain.

"Does this mean my life ends this night?"

"No, my child. It means tonight your life begins."

At that moment the old woman took the book into her own hands and began to tear out each of the pages with words, throwing them one by one into the fire until all that was left were blank pages.

She handed the book of empty pages to the young woman.

"You see," she said, "just as the waves washed away your footsteps in the sand, your past is forever gone, never to return. The only moment you ever truly possess is here and now. Each new moment is the beginning of the rest of your life and is to be lived to the fullest, for you will not have a chance to live that moment a second time. Most important of all, each new day brings an opportunity to love--one that may never come to you again.

"As for your future, you are free to shape it as you wish, for it has not yet been written."

Then, as mysteriously as she had appeared, the old woman stood to walk away and disappeared into the darkness of the night.

Excerpt from the book, For Love or Nothing

Sunrise of Life

Every sunrise brings us a new day, a new life, new possibilities. Every morning we can see the magic of life. Isn’t that enough to be happy?

In Focus.

Why is it important to be focused? What about spontaneous actions and freedom in your life? I was thinking a lot on these questions. I can say that being spontaneous doesn’t mean being oblivious. Concentration helps us to feel the taste of every moment. To understand what color every minute has. This is magical feeling – being focused and concentrated.
Why photography is an art? Because photographer is a magician that can capture beautiful moment from the rush of life. And the secret of this magic is to be focused on a moment.
